The terms, in plain English

This site is operated by Korvix Roofing LLC (“Korvix Roofing”, “we”, “us”), a Missouri limited liability company serving Chesterfield and the surrounding west St. Louis and St. Charles County communities. By using korvixroofing.com, submitting a request through it, or agreeing to receive messages from us, you accept these terms.

If you have signed an estimate or a contract with us, that document governs the work itself. These terms cover the website, the messages we send, and anything the signed document is silent about — they never override it.

Everything on this site is offered for general information about roofing and about our services. Prices, timelines, material availability, and code requirements all change, and nothing here is an offer or a binding quote. Only a written estimate prepared for your specific roof is.

Please don’t try to break, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site, and don’t submit the form with someone else’s contact details. The photos, text, logos, and design on this site belong to us.

• An estimate covers the scope described in its line items. Work that isn’t listed — including concealed damage such as rotted decking discovered during tear-off — is priced and approved in writing before it is performed.
• Pricing is honoured through the “valid through” date shown on the estimate. Material costs can move after that date.
• Where we present good/better/best options, accepting one archives the others. You are choosing, not refusing.
• Accepting an estimate online — typing your name and drawing your signature on the hosted estimate page — is a legally binding electronic signature, and you consent to transacting electronically when you do it. We record the time, your typed name, your signature image, and the IP address and browser the acceptance came from. That record is described in our Privacy Policy.

Payment is due upon completion unless other terms are agreed in writing. Invoices show the balance due after any credits and payments already applied. We accept check and cash; card payments are handled outside this site, and this website never collects or stores a card number, a bank account number, or any other payment credential.

Manufacturer material warranties apply as the manufacturer publishes them, and registration requirements are theirs, not ours. Our own workmanship warranty is provided to you in writing at contract signing — the written document is what governs its length, its coverage, and its transferability, and a description on a web page never expands it.

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Missouri law is specific about what a residential roofing contractor may do with your insurance claim, and we follow it. We will inspect your roof, document what we find, and give you a written estimate you can hand to your insurer. We will not negotiate, adjust, or represent your claim on your behalf, and we will not offer to absorb, waive, or rebate your deductible. Your claim is between you and your insurer.

Beyond the insurance-claim right above: if you sign a contract with us in person at your home rather than at a place of business, the Federal Trade Commission’s Cooling-Off Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 429) generally gives you three business days to cancel, and we will give you the written cancellation notice that rule requires. If you are unsure whether it applies to your contract, ask us and we will tell you straight.

Cancelling a scheduled build after materials have been ordered or delivered may leave a restocking or delivery cost, and if so it will be shown to you before you decide.

Program name and description

Korvix Roofing Customer Updates sends text messages from Korvix Roofing to homeowners who have asked us for an inspection, an estimate, or repair work. The messages are about your own request: confirming an appointment, telling you the crew is on the way, sending you the link to your estimate or invoice, and following up afterwards. We do not send marketing blasts, storm-chasing lists, or messages to anyone who has not asked us to text them.

How you opt in

By checking the text-message box on our request form and giving us your mobile number. The box is never pre-checked, it is separate from your acceptance of these terms and our privacy policy, and consent is not a condition of purchase — you can hire us, get an estimate, and have your roof built without ever agreeing to a text.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with what is happening on your project — typically a handful of messages around an appointment or an estimate, and none between projects. Message and data rates may apply.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and your handset, and we cannot guarantee it — so we never use a text as the only way we tell you something that matters. Supported carriers may change without notice.

Your information

What we do with your mobile number and your consent record is set out in our Privacy Policy. The short version: your text-messaging opt-in is never shared with anyone for their own marketing, and it is never sold.

When you send us a request with your phone number, you are asking us to get back to you, and a person here will call you about it. That is the enquiry itself and it needs no extra permission.

The separate, optional checkbox on our form covers something narrower: calls placed with an autodialer, and calls or voicemails that use a prerecorded or artificial voice. That consent is not a condition of purchase either, you can withdraw it at any time by telling us, and your carrier’s rates may apply to calls you receive.

We email you about your own request — a confirmation, your estimate, a reminder if it is about to expire, and your invoice. Those are transactional messages about a job you asked us to do. We do not run a marketing email list today; if we ever do, it will have its own separate opt-in and its own unsubscribe link, and being a customer will not enrol you in it.

Missouri does not issue a statewide roofing contractor licence — the Division of Professional Registration licenses 38 professions and roofing is not among them. What binds a roofer here is municipal: a business licence or contractor registration in each city that requires one, plus a permit per job. We register where we work and we say so honestly rather than claiming a state credential that does not exist.

Where a permit is required, pulling it and scheduling the inspections is part of the job and part of the written price.

You will not see sales tax added as a line on a lump-sum residential re-roof, and that is correct rather than an oversight. Under 12 CSR 10-112.010 a contractor improving real property is the final consumer of the materials: the tax is paid at the supply house, at the supply house’s rate, and is already inside our price.

The website is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for a decision made on the strength of a web page rather than a written estimate. Nothing here limits our liability for the work we actually perform, for fraud, or for anything the law does not permit us to limit.

Links to other sites — a manufacturer, a city permit office, a lender — are conveniences. We do not control what is on them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving St. Louis County, Missouri.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page changes when we do, and a material change to the text-messaging section will also be reflected in the consent wording on our form — we keep a record of the exact wording each person agreed to, so a later edit never rewrites what you signed up for.
