Korvix Roofing is a family business, and it runs like one. The person who quotes your roof answers to the name on the truck, the crew that shows up on build day is our crew — not a subcontractor found the night before — and the phone number on this site rings people who know your job by your street name.
We work where we live: Chesterfield, Ballwin, Wildwood, and the rest of west St. Louis County. That’s a deliberate choice. Staying close means we can be on a roof the week you call, come back fast if something needs attention, and stand behind a 25-year workmanship warranty knowing we’ll still be here to honor it.
Our promise is boring on purpose: show up when we said, tell you the truth about what your roof needs — even when the truth is “it’s a $400 repair, not a replacement” — build it right in a day, and leave your yard cleaner than we found it.

How We Work
What Hiring Us Actually Looks Like
It starts with paper, because everything that goes wrong in roofing goes wrong in the vague parts. Your written scope names the shingle line and color, the underlayment and ice-and-water coverage, new drip edge and flashing, the ventilation plan, permit handling, haul-away, and a per-sheet price for any decking we have to replace — so a surprise under the old roof changes the number by a known amount, not a negotiation. One document, one price, signed before a single truck is scheduled.
Build day runs on crew structure, not luck. A lead runs the roof and is your one point of contact on site; the crew tears off in sections so nothing sits open, dry-in follows the tear-off around the house, and the same people who stripped your roof at breakfast are shingling it by mid-morning. You’ll know the lead’s name before we start, and the phone number you already have keeps working all day.
And your property gets treated like the job site it temporarily is. Tarps and plywood go over landscaping and anything under the drop zones before tear-off begins, the dumpster is placed where your driveway can take the weight, debris leaves the same evening, and the last task of the day is a magnet sweep of the lawn, beds, and driveway. The goal is simple: by dinner, the only evidence we were there is the roof.

Missouri Has No Roofing License
Not a loophole — a fact. The state licenses electricians and three dozen other professions; roofing isn’t one of them. So when a roofer tells you he’s “state-licensed,” ask which board issued it. We won’t claim a credential that doesn’t exist.
A Registered Missouri LLC
Korvix Roofing LLC, registered with the Missouri Secretary of State. You can look us up yourself in about thirty seconds, and you should — with any contractor.
City Licenses and Permits
Roofing rules here are municipal, and St. Louis County alone has 88 municipalities with 88 sets of them. We carry the business license each city requires and we pull the permit for your job — it’s in the written scope, not an extra.

General liability and workers’ compensation on every job. Ask and we’ll send the certificates before we set a ladder against your house — call the agent listed on them if you like. That’s what they’re for.
